The key objective of the group is to highlight the important clinical overlap that
exists between patients presenting with a primary cardiovascular or renal problem.

This one-day conference will highlight the important clinical overlap that exists between patients presenting with a primary cardiovascular or renal problem. It aims to raise awareness and bring together healthcare professionals who are involved in the management of such patients in order to improve patient care. Topics to be covered include:

  • Cardiorenal commisioning in the new NHS
  • Remote monitoring and telemedicine in cardiovascular patients
  • Treating difficult hypertension
  • Renal sympathetic denervation - a new treatment
  • Antidiabetic drugs - will they improve outcomes
  • Update on cardiac and renal clinical trials
  • Treating heart failure in the very elderly
  • Clinical dilemmas in atrial fibrillation and ACS
